Ready to start working with a PATRIOTlink partner program, but don't want to navigate away or wait for a return call or email?
For currently participating programs you can reach out to them directly from their page!
Before you can get started messaging a partner you need to confirm your identity or veteran status. We have made it easy to do so with as few clicks as possible.
- On any participating program, click the Verify Veteran Status button beneath the report button.
2. On the following page, enter the information on your VA record. PATRIOTlink uses the VA's Veteran Confirmation API to confirm Title 38 Veterans (everyone else keep following!). Check the box consenting to us sending the information to the VA's API, this information is NOT stored on your profile (apart from Legal Name as requested on sign-up). You will only need to complete this verification once unless you withdraw consent later.
2a. If found you will receive a green confirmed message and be redirected back to the program's page where you can now enter a question to start a chat.
2b. If not found you will receive a red message requesting you to try again or directing you to our manual form. You will need to submit qualifying identification such as government-issued photo ID (preferably drivers license), and DD214 (in case of family or caregivers, please coordinate with your veteran) to establish service connection.
A member of our staff will review the submission within 24 business hours and approve or deny the confirmation. You will receive an email notification when the manual process is completed.
3. If confirmed, you may now submit an inquiry to any participating partner program! A member of PATRIOTlink or Code of Support Foundation staff will be assigned to your inquiry to help with other needs or facilitate discussion with the partner.
NOTE: Chats are NOT real-time, if you leave PATRIOTlink you will receive an email notifying you of any chat responses.
4. You will be able to securely upload any documentation needed for partner programs to your account. You only need to upload once to attach them to any inquiry!
